Kaiser Chiefs meet Kids Creating ‘Save the World’ Ideas at SAVILES Hall Conference Venue Leeds

This is a charity event/conference held in Leeds, where over 500 children brainstorm ideas on how they feel they could best save the planet.

The day, entitled ‘Solutions for the Planet Conference’ in Leeds, was the launch of a year long project for 500 8 -11 year olds across Yorkshire.

The young people were poised with the question, “Which single thing, if we did it consistently and well, would have the biggest impact on our society, economy and the environment?”

The children were grouped into sets to come up with ideas. Several MPs and Ministers attended including Rosie Winterton, but the highlight of the day was when the Kaiser Chiefs dropped in to SAVILES conference centre in Leeds (with surrounding conference hotels leeds) to see how the children were getting along with the task.
